Good news. The seminal new wave pop band of the 1980s’, The Police have finally re-banded and are going on tour. Goody.

Bad news. You’ll need sell a kidney in order to afford the tickets. Crap seat prices are still higher than reasonable. So be prepared to be sitting at home the night they come through town. IF they come close to your town. Considering the “new” record they promised 25 years ago is 25 years late, they owe me at least an apology and a pair of tickets.

Meanwhile Squeeze can barely fill a VFW hall in Kansas. Doing cover songs. At least I can see them play without my memories being sold at the highest price.

P.S. Yes that title is a double entendre.

Who’da known? Last year about this time I posted the little known married name for one of the nastiest people in political punditry on this website. Short of profanity I’m sure she’d respond to it should you call it aloud. I was kinda hoping it’d spread in place of her maiden name. Then I found this. Her and her husband are so ideologically compatible I could play match maker at a distance. It was bound to happen. She wrote of some of the September 11th widows that they were “enjoying their husbands’ deaths” and called them “witches”. Her husband and his followers celebrate the death of American troops and try to disrupt their funerals.

They’re a lovely couple. The Anna Nicole and J. Howard Marshall of politics. Except Anna Nicole and Howard Marshall have given us the benefit of their deaths. If you didn’t get the wedding announcement please share the news. A match made in stupidity.
