About
The point of “madmonq’s joint” is to be a neighborhood bar. A virtual bar where anyone can walk through door, sit down, have a drink and a smoke, and join in on the conversation. Or not. You are welcome to join in. But the goal is an actual conversation. If you are brave enough.
I like to discuss things from a pop culture perspective. Sometimes for a laugh, sometimes not. It’s just that simple and sometimes it’s just not.
Hopefully there will be a dialog, a discussion. I think I can stand the social interaction from time to time, such as it is. It is something that is much needed I think. Don’t take much of what I have to say seriously. I can be direct and/or sarcastic to a fault. It’s best to read my blog drunk. Best to smoke your way though the night. How else can you tell you had a good time? You don’t have an answer for that, do you. See you at the bar.
Exhausted working class hero. Using its bitterness to restore my thoughts. Crushed by the cycle & loving every minute of it. Think Scott Free.
saw your comment at ‘lord crimson’. agreed that even commenting is validating the trash, but had to dig at his crack on obama as a commuunist. he’s must be neo-con or somethihng close. best.
Thanks for the comment, love your blog. Mind if I add you to my blogroll?
Super J.
hey madmonq, I know it’s been a long time but I’ve been so busy….and to be completely honest, I’m still a bit overwhelmed and intimidated by the whole blogging community…it’s a bit frustrating…I’ll post something new soon…thanks for the intellectual push, I need it every once in a while.
Hello,
I don’t appreciate the way you used my name in your article. I don’t claim to have written the poem. I just wrote a song called “Footprints in the Sand”. If you would have done your homework you would see that.
If you would like information about me then email me directly and not publish what you think you know.
No problem. I’ll correct it.
Out of curiosity, who do you pay your royalties to?
Nice. I’m an atheist myself, but I do like what you have to say about religion and “god.”
I love you better than mashed potatoes. ;o)
Seriously, thanks for the comment on “rape trees” and I can’t wait to read more of yours…
Please keep up the good work.
P.S.
Why is it that libertarians tend to attract kooks? That lady who commented was crazazy!
Hi,
If you want to add Facebook or email sharing buttons to your blog posts, there’s a plugin that does it for you: http://tinyurl.com/sharebuttons
Hope you find it helpful!
Cheers,
Really like your work.
